Annual KIDS SUMMER CAMP June 17 to 21, 2013

At Ruff House Pet Resort we are committed to working in our community and bringing adults, kids and animals together.
We provide an educational and interactive animal experience where elementary school kids can learn respect and compassion for animals as well as proper pet care and handling. We have a lot of new and exciting animals and guest speakers this year! Those of you coming back from last year will have a lot of new things to learn!

KIDS SUMMER CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

  • Animal Art and Games
  • Veterinarian Guest Speaker with Q and A for kids
  • Dog Training Lessons and Tricks
  • Rainforest Animals Touch and Feel. A Conservation Lesson
  • Sphynx-the Hairless Cat (ugly or cute)
  • Playtime with Kittens
  • Dog Safety 101 (Do's and Don'ts)
  • Miniature Horses, JJ comes to visit
  • Search and Rescue Dogs presented by Riverside Fire Department
  • Who Wants to Kiss the Pot Bellied Pigs
  • Education on Exotic Pets and Reptiles
  • Bunny Bounce Time
  • Hands on Dog Grooming

    We have a structured agenda that allows for education in a fun and interesting environment so the kids stay interested.
    Our instructors have education and teaching experience at most grade levels and have cleared background checks with the County of Riverside.

    1 week of Kids Summer Camp available to kids 1st-8th grade
    1st session 9am-12pm(half day) or 2nd session 9am-3pm(full day)

  • $175 weekly rate (Mon-Fri) includes Camp t-shirt and optional pizza party on Friday
