AKC's Canine Good Citizen Class

Requirements: 4 months of age, Current vaccines

Details: Canine Good Citizen class is a 6 week training program that teaches you and your dog commands and obedience suitable for going into public together. Loose leash walking, down stay, walking through crowds, greeting strangers and recall are some of the situations you will learn and practice together. Upon graduation, dogs are eligible to take the Canine Good Citizen Evaluation and become "CGC" Certified.




Therapy Dog Training Class


5 Weeks $150

Requirements: 1 year of age, Current Vaccines, CGC Certification, Temperament tested

Details: Therapy Dog Training teaches teams (owner and dog) how to prepare for volunteer therapy work in schools, hospitals, and anywhere in the community. Class includes practicing with wheelchairs, walkers, and going into real life therapy situations. Graduates are eligible for testing and Certification through Therapy Dog International (TDI).
